With sizzly , a platform solution was found that is precisely tailored to the needs of the catering sector - flexible, user-friendly and fully integrable into the existing system landscape. Thanks to sizzly , group orderers - such as secretariats - can order conveniently via app and receive a clear weekly view in which the number of meals per day can be entered cumulatively. Billing is error-free, communication effort is reduced to a minimum and everyone involved benefits from a clear, fast and simple system.

Integration into the merchandise management system

Thanks to the direct connection to the ROP merchandise management system, all information (articles and order data) can be automatically synchronized between sizzly and the merchandise management system. Duplicate data maintenance is completely eliminated.

Digital weekly meal plan

By integrating sizzly with the ROP merchandise management system, the weekly meal plan and all item information (price, allergens, etc.) is automatically transferred to sizzly . The caterer thus has the advantage of only having to update the articles in the familiar system and not in two places.

Individual weekly view for group orders

Nursery/kindergarten managers, secretaries, home managers etc. can enter quantities on a daily basis and conveniently manage bulk orders. Cancellations can also be entered directly in the weekly overview, without the need for time-consuming article searches.

Real-time synchronization

Orders, cancellations and changes flow automatically back into ROP - error-free communication guaranteed.

Digital billing & subsidy management

sizzly also supports the requirements of public institutions and facilitates the processing of education and participation funds.

With the web application, access is possible at any time from anywhere & is independent of business hours, work location & equipment.

Integration of sizzly with ROP

Interface for seamless processes

Managing Director Roman Mattheis became aware of the sizzly ordering and payment platform via the existing ROP merchandise management system. As a pilot customer, he contributed valuable insights from his many years of experience as a caterer to the development of the interface.

Together, they developed a smart interface that now automates a large number of processes:

  • Menus created in ROP are transferred directly to sizzly - without duplicate data maintenance.
  • Orders flow back to ROP in real time - for maximum transparency.
  • Cancellations and changes to orders, e.g. in the event of illness, can be made directly by the customer in the app - without morning phone waves or email chaos.

All other operational processes - from item management and recipes to production planning - are still managed in the ROP merchandise management system. The direct connection to sizzly has created an end-to-end digital infrastructure that avoids media disruptions and saves valuable time - a real example of smart system integration in the catering sector.
